And the moment we leave it unengaged, it starts
thinking of unnecessary and undesirable things and fills us with insatiable
carvings, anxieties and fears. And what is the ladder to deal with the demon of
mind? It is the Hare Krishna mahamantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
If we constantly chant the mahamantra and remember
the lord, then the mind can never disturb us.
